oops forgot last week

The boys like to dressup; sometimes they are Batman and The Magician, some times Gene Kelly singing in the rain. They have now come up with secret identities, "Super Cooper" and "The Mighty Nick". Ryan is sometimes refered to as "Destructo Baby" which is not positive, but Nick thinks is hilarious.
The boys decided it is fun to play in the crib. Ryan is not sure why they think it is so much fun but he goes along with the big boys.

I have a list of 75 things the boys need to learn before Kindergarden. One is to stack 10 one inch blocks.

Recently, we purchased three car seats, now we have freedom. No more planning ahead and making arrangements to get carseats in order to go somewhere.

Light Sabers, golf clubs and catch

A few weeks ago I bought the boys light-up Star Wars Light Sabers. There were only three left; two blue and a red. The red is the most popular, of course; that makes Darth Vader popular. Ryan likes the red as well, but he holds the light saber up like Luke Skywalker, and has the same look about him that just makes him naturally one of the guys. Who knows who will be what for Halloween, but I won't be surprised if we have Darth Vader among us. I was trying to figure out how to make a Darth Vader costume without using a mask. Bliss said it's been done; you just have to make a Darth Helmet. Needless to say we will be watching Spaceballs soon.

The guys have had a fascination with golf clubs since they could walk. They usually carry them around like hockey sticks, and chase after each other in one of those amazing games of tag that you can only have when your house makes a complete circle. Recently though, Cooper has learned that one uses the club to hit a ball. He is pretty good.

Ready,

set,

Look at it go!
Catch! We are working on it.

My birthday

I invited all the kids to my surprise birthday party attendance was mandatory. They said if you are inviting us to your birthday party how can it be a surprise? I told them "when and what we do is up to you there's the surprise. Everyone was in attendance, we got a picture and I had a great time.

Aerro brought me the most fitting cake it was blue and green (I like that color combination) and was decorated with ice cream cones that looked like they had been accidently dropped. So fitting for my life something beautiful with disaster all over it. As well as three cupcakes for the kids (the little boys are very good at cup cakes and no waiting). The best part turned out to be the "ice cream" was frosting, I didn't have to eat any cake just frosting on sugar cone. Bliss took some pictures. yea! Bliss!

Another Generation Corrupted

Cooper has discovered trains! Nick and Ryan think trains are pretty neat, but Cooper is excited about them, and likes to read Model Railroader and point out all the "choo-choos". Here's a few pictures from the other day:
